FFA Members Volunteer At Appleton Creamery

November 13, 2011 –

Six members helped owners Brad and Caitlin Hunter at their goat farm in Appleton, ME. The farm consisted of 50 plus Alpine dairy goats, many chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. FFA members helped prepare the goat barn for the winter months ahead. Every year, the Hunters depend on help from the local community to shovel out the barn and lay new shavings. FFA members received a delicious lunch and were able to take home some cheese.
